Trancecore is a subgenre of electronicore and metalcore that emerged in the late 2000s, characterized by its fusion of heavy, distorted guitar riffs, pounding electronic beats, and soaring, melodic vocals. This high-energy sound often features synthesized leads, pulsing basslines, and rapid-fire drumming, creating a frenetic, danceable atmosphere. As a distinct offshoot of the metalcore and post-hardcore scenes, trancecore drew inspiration from the euphoric, anthemic qualities of trance music and the aggressive, technical aspects of metal.
