One More Satellite

One More Satellite is a collaborative rock project led by Dean DeLeo, the renowned guitarist of Stone Temple Pilots. Launched in 2025, the project features British singer-songwriter Pete Shoulder on vocals and guitar. The debut self-titled album, released on July 18, 2025, showcases a blend of grunge and alternative rock influences with a modern edge. The album includes contributions from some notable musicians, including DeLeo’s son Rocco on drums, his daughter June on backing vocals, and Stone Temple Pilots’ drummer Eric Kretz, alongside Brian Tichy who handles drums on most tracks. The music was co-produced and mixed by longtime collaborator Ryan Williams. Their single "Paper Over The Cracks" highlights DeLeo's signature guitar craftsmanship and sets the tone for an impressive project that pays homage to alternative rock while carving its own distinct sound.

The partnership between DeLeo and Shoulder builds on their previous collaborations, including songwriting for Dean DeLeo’s brother Robert’s album and work with Stone Temple Pilots-affiliated projects. With its strong songwriting foundation and a lineup that blends family and seasoned rock talent, One More Satellite offers both a fresh take for fans and a continuation of DeLeo’s creative evolution beyond the beloved Stone Temple Pilots legacy.
