Fido Guido is the stage name of Guido De Vincentis, an Italian musician who started his career at just 12 years old playing guitar in the hardcore punk band S.F.C. from Taranto, his hometown. After years in the hardcore scene and growing as a social activist, he transitioned into reggae, releasing his first roots album "Padrun e Sott" in 2003 with the support of Bombhead, a notable figure in Southern Italy's sound system culture. His music, deeply influenced by the contradictions of his native Taranto, has earned him recognition in Italy and beyond, with hits like "Vastase" and "Mena DJ" featuring veteran artists. Fido Guido is also a producer, having founded the label Zuingo Communication and produced multiple albums for himself and other Italian artists. He has performed extensively across Italy and Europe, becoming a prominent figure in the Italian reggae scene.
