Rick Cuevas is a San Francisco Bay Area native who has been active in the music scene for several decades. He is known for his work as a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and audio engineer. Cuevas was a founding member of the surrealist rock band Zru Vogue and has also been involved in other bands like Pink Litmus Paper Suit and Science Patrol. His first solo album, *Symbolism*, was self-released in 1984 and has been re-released in remastered form. One of his notable works is the song "The Birds," which gained popularity in the 2020s and was featured in TV series like *Little America* and *Shining Girls*. Over the years, Cuevas has released several albums and has continued to be active in music, both as a solo artist and with his band projects.
