Erik Deutsch

Erik Deutsch is a versatile pianist, keyboardist, composer, and bandleader who has carved out an impressive 25-year career blending jazz, pop, country, and rock influences. Born in Washington, D.C. in 1976, he was shaped early on by a musical family and began Suzuki piano lessons at Vanderbilt University. He has released multiple acclaimed albums and has performed with a wide range of artists, including The Chicks (formerly Dixie Chicks), Norah Jones, Rosanne Cash, and Leftover Salmon. His music has earned praise from outlets like Rolling Stone and Jazz Times, and he has been recognized multiple times in DownBeat magazine's Rising Star organist poll.

Currently splitting his time between Brooklyn and Mexico City, Erik has appeared on over 150 records and performed at renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Madison Square Garden. His latest work includes the album *This Was Then* (2025), which features a fresh mix of his jazz-infused, genre-bending style.
