Ruprekha Banerjee

Ruprekha Banerjee is an Indian musician born on July 28, 1984, in Bongaon, North 24 Parganas district, West Bengal. She rose to fame as one of the winners of the popular Indian television show *Fame Gurukul* in 2005, alongside Qazi Touqeer. Her debut album, *Yeh Pal*, with Touqeer, achieved significant success, reaching Double Platinum in India and selling over 5 million copies worldwide. Ruprekha has a versatile singing style, capable of performing various genres such as romantic, rock, pop, classical, and semi-classical music. She has worked with numerous music directors and recorded songs in multiple languages, including Bengali, Hindi, Bhojpuri, and Gujarati.
