Over decades, they carved a niche in vocal jazz with albums like *Free and Easy!* and *Time & Love*, mixing jazz standards, Broadway tunes, and original compositions with a breezy, sophisticated vibe.

Their partnership—both on and offstage—spanned over 50 years, earning them a loyal following for live performances and recordings like *The Definitive Jackie & Roy* and *Spring Can Really Hang You Up the Most*. Roy’s inventive arrangements and Jackie’s luminous tone kept their sound fresh into the 1990s, cementing their legacy as one of vocal jazz’s most enduring duos. After Roy’s passing in 2002, Jackie continued occasional performances until her death in 2014, leaving behind a catalog that still swings with timeless chemistry.
