Fat Cat

Fat Cat, also known as Defconn Girl, is a South Korean singer whose real name is Kim So-young. She first gained attention after appearing in the music video for rapper Defconn's song "How Rappers Break Up Part 2" and performing live with him. Fat Cat debuted with her single "Indifferent Love" in 2011, showcasing a unique style that included the memorable "Tik Tok" dance created by choreographer Bae Sang Mi. She followed up with singles like "Is Being Pretty Everything" and "It's Like a Dream" while promoting actively on Korean music shows. Despite facing a health setback in 2012 due to a kidney disorder, she made a strong comeback and also pursued a debut in Japan with the single "Make Up" in 2013 under Victor-JVC and Rainbow Entertainment. Her music often blends catchy pop with distinctive performances, earning her a dedicated fanbase.
