Chris Caffery

Chris Caffery is a veteran guitarist and songwriter best known as a longtime member of the progressive metal band Savatage and its symphonic offshoot Trans-Siberian Orchestra. The New York-born musician joined Savatage in the late 1980s, helping shape their signature blend of heavy riffs and theatrical storytelling. When Savatage members formed Trans-Siberian Orchestra in 1996, Caffery became a key touring guitarist and creative contributor to their explosive holiday-rock spectacles.

Beyond his work with these iconic bands, Caffery has maintained a solo career showcasing his knack for melodic metal. Recent releases like *No Face Race*, *S.O.T.S.*, and *House of Insanity* highlight his gritty vocals, shredding guitar work, and flair for dramatic themes. Whether collaborating on TSO’s winter tours or delivering solo material like the anthemic *Your Heaven Is Real*, Caffery remains a respected figure in the metal community, blending technical prowess with unapologetic rock energy.
