Cortney Tidwell is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter known for blending elements of folk, pop, and experimental music into a sound uniquely her own. Growing up in a musical family—her mother, Connie Eaton, was a country singer, and her grandfather ran a local label—Tidwell was immersed in music from an early age. Her work often explores moody, atmospheric textures and features her ethereal vocals over layered instrumentation.

One of her most notable releases is Invariable Heartache, a collaborative album with Kurt Wagner of Lambchop under the name KORT, which reimagines old country songs with a modern, indie twist.
