Federico del Sordo

Federico Del Sordo is a renowned Italian organist and harpsichordist, born in Rome in 1961. He has completed extensive musical studies, earning diplomas in piano, organ, organistic composition, composition, church music, and choral conducting. Del Sordo is known for his intense concert activity, performing with prominent associations both in Italy and abroad. He is also deeply involved in research, particularly in the fields of social sciences and musicology, with a focus on Baroque music. As a professor, he teaches at the Conservatory S. Cecilia and the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music in Rome. Del Sordo has recorded several albums for notable labels like Brilliant Classics, showcasing his expertise in the Italian alternatim repertoire.

His recent releases include a variety of historical music collections, such as the complete organ music of Girolamo Cavazzoni and works by other Baroque composers.
