Bacon Wagon

Bacon Wagon is a Swedish noise-rock trio formed in 2003, shortly after the disbanding of the seminal Swedish noise-rock band Acid Ape. The band consists of twin brothers **Marcus** and **Kristoffer Kinberg**, along with **Peter Johansson** on drums, who joined after leaving his previous band Instrumen. Initially, Marcus had to switch from drums to guitar to solidify the lineup. The band released an EP called *Savant* but went on hiatus soon after. They reunited in 2023 and released their debut full-length album *Trauma Cake* in 2025. The album is characterized by its caustic noise-rock sound, with influences reminiscent of bands like Nirvana and the Melvins. One of their notable tracks from *Trauma Cake* is "I-Beam," which explores themes of workplace accidents and recovery.

The band's music is known for its energetic and punk-infused sound, often blending elements of noise rock with a touch of humor. Their debut album *Trauma Cake* marks a significant milestone in their career, offering fans a collection of ten tracks that embody the gritty, raw energy of their genre. The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Oliver Dahl at Studio Quaalude, Sweden, and features cover art by Marcus Kinberg.
