Moaning Cities

Moaning Cities is a psychedelic rock-n-roll band formed in Brussels in late 2011. The band combines blues roots with gritty rock elements, creating a unique sound that reflects their musical influences. Over the years, they have undergone some lineup changes, with notable shifts after the release of their debut album. By late 2015, they recorded their second album in the KoKo studio near Liège, with the goal of releasing it the following year. Their music evolved to become "rawer" and less traditional, as described by the band members themselves. Some of their notable releases include "Pathways through the Sail," "D. Klein," and "Insomnia."

Moaning Cities has been on stand-by since July 2017, with no touring or recording planned. Despite this hiatus, their music remains available for fans to enjoy. Their discography includes several albums, showcasing their blend of psychedelic rock and blues influences. The band's music is characterized by its raw energy and evolving sound, reflecting the changes in their lineup and artistic direction over time.
