FM Static

FM Static is a Canadian pop punk and Christian rock duo formed in 2003 by Trevor McNevan and Steve Augustine, who are also members of the band Thousand Foot Krutch. Known for their catchy hooks, energetic rhythms, and heartfelt lyrics, FM Static blends upbeat pop-punk vibes with introspective themes about life, love, and faith. Their debut album "What Are You Waiting For?" dropped in 2003 and quickly gained traction with fans thanks to tracks like "Crazy Mary" and "Definitely Maybe."

The band followed up with albums like "Critically Ashamed" (2006), the concept-driven "Dear Diary" (2009), and "My Brain Says Stop, But My Heart Says Go!" (2011), each showcasing their evolving sound and knack for storytelling through music. Despite being a side project, FM Static earned a devoted fanbase and carved out a unique space in the Christian rock and alternative scenes.
