King Buffalo

King Buffalo is an American psychedelic rock band hailing from Rochester, New York, known for their heavy riffs, astral soundscapes, and hypnotic grooves. Formed in 2013, the band consists of guitarist and lead vocalist Sean McVay, bassist Dan Reynolds, and drummer Scott Donaldson. Their music is characterized by an immersive blend of stoner rock and space rock elements, with a penchant for creating sprawling, atmospheric experiences that captivate their listeners.

Since releasing their Demo in 2013, King Buffalo has steadily risen in the ranks of the underground rock scene. They made their full-length debut with "Orion" in 2016, which established their signature sound and earned them a dedicated following. They've continued to refine and expand their sonic palette with subsequent offerings like "Repeater" (2018), "Longing to Be the Mountain" (2018), and "Dead Star" (2020). Their productivity soared in 2021 with the release of a trio of albums collectively known as "The Pandemic Trilogy," showcasing the band's versatility and creativity under challenging circumstances. This trilogy includes "The Burden of Restlessness," "Acheron," and the vigorous "Regenerator." King Buffalo's capacity to deliver live performances that mirror their studio work's intensity is exemplified by their "Jam in the Van - King Buffalo (Live Session, Los Angeles, CA, 2021)," which provides fans with a raw and authentic taste of the trio's onstage synergy. King Buffalo's evocative and expansive approach to music has solidified their status as a unique and progressive force in the realm of psychedelic and alternative rock.
