Franck Amsallem

Franck Amsallem is a French-American jazz pianist, composer, and vocalist known for his lyrical playing and sophisticated compositions. Born in Algiers and raised in Nice, France, he moved to the United States in the early 1980s to study at the Berklee College of Music and later at the Manhattan School of Music. His music blends traditional jazz influences with a modern sensibility, and he's performed alongside jazz legends like Gerry Mulligan and Charles Lloyd.

Amsallem has released several acclaimed albums as a leader, including Gotham Goodbye and Out a Day, which showcase his richly harmonic style and elegant phrasing. In addition to his work as a pianist, he is also an accomplished composer and arranger, having written for big bands and orchestras. Amsallem continues to be an influential figure in the international jazz scene, performing and recording across Europe and the U.S.
