Nine:forty:pm

Nine:Forty:PM is a shoegaze and post-punk band from Portland, Oregon. The group formed in October 2016 after connecting through a Craigslist ad titled "MAKE AMERICA SHOEGAZE AGAIN" featuring the cover of My Bloody Valentine's "Loveless" album. Initially starting as a duo with just drums and guitar, they eventually expanded to a full lineup and released their debut EP "We're All Yours" in 2018.

The band cites influences like My Bloody Valentine, Dinosaur Jr., Slowdive, and The Cure, describing their sound as a "wall of sound" with heavy, guitar-driven melodies and "pillowy reverb". Their music incorporates elements of shoegaze, post-rock and noise with pop melodies, often utilizing quiet-to-loud dynamics and high volume as key components of their sonic palette.
