Eric Alexander Quartet

Eric Alexander Quartet is the long-running combo led by tenor saxophonist Eric Alexander, one of the most respected figures on the modern jazz scene. Known for his robust tone, lyrical phrasing, and deep understanding of hard bop tradition, Alexander has built a reputation for delivering soulful, high-energy performances with a classic feel. His quartet has often featured frequent collaborators such as pianist Harold Mabern (until Mabern's passing in 2019), as well as other top-tier rhythm section players, bringing swing and sophistication to each project.
