Void Moon

Void Moon is a Swedish doom metal band formed in early 2009 by bassist Peter Svensson and vocalist/guitarist Jonas Gustavsson, along with drummer Thomas Hedlund. The band's early work included the "Through the Gateway" 7” EP, released in October 2010, and the "The Mourning Son" demo in April 2011. Erika Wallberg soon joined as the lead guitarist, enhancing their lineup. Void Moon's debut album, "On the Blackest of Nights," was released in November 2012 to positive reviews. Over the years, they have continued to produce powerful doom metal with notable releases like "Waste of Mind" and more recently, "Dreams Inside the Sun."

Peter Svensson is particularly involved with Void Moon, considering it his main band despite being part of numerous other musical projects. The band's evolution has seen them tackle ambitious tracks and collaborate with various artists, solidifying their place in the doom metal scene. Void Moon's music often follows in the footsteps of genre leaders like Candlemass, maintaining a strong presence in the doom metal community.
