Moon Destroys
Moon Destroys is a musical project founded by Juan Montoya, formerly of Torche and MonstrO, and Evan Diprima, known for his work with Gold Pyramid and ex-Royal Thunder. The duo initially collaborated under the name Stallone in 2009 before evolving into Moon Destroys in 2018. Their music often blends elements of hard rock, psychedelic, and shoegaze, creating a dynamic and layered sound. Their discography includes notable EPs and tracks such as "Maiden Voyage" and "She Walks By Moonlight". In 2024, the band expanded with the addition of vocalist/guitarist Charlie Suárez and Arnold Nese, completing their lineup.
Moon Destroys' debut EP, "Maiden Voyage," was created in just 36 hours and marks a significant point in their musical journey. This project showcases their ability to craft epic and atmospheric songs, drawing inspiration from fantasy and metal storytelling traditions. The band's expansion and continued creative output suggest a promising future with a more complete lineup.
