MIND

MIND is a UK progressive rock/metal band formed by lead guitarist Andreia Gomez. The band started in 2009 when Andreia recorded a demo of her original compositions and set out to build a group that could bring her ambitious musical ideas to life. Drawing from influences like 70s prog, world music, film scores, fusion, and metal, MIND quickly developed a sound that’s both aggressive and melodic, known for exploring advanced rhythms and melodies while keeping things accessible. Over the years, the band has seen some lineup changes, including notable members like drummer Douglas Hamer, bassist Joe Chauncy, keyboardist Erim Ahmet, and singer Anthony “Willow” Seanor. After a period of regrouping and rebuilding, MIND returned with new energy, playing high-profile gigs and earning a growing fan base—even headlining the HRH Prog Festival in 2018, where an unexpected instrumental set became a memorable moment in their story.
