Chelsea Days is an indie/alternative band hailing from Oklahoma City, known for their neo-psychedelic sound that draws inspiration from the late 60s and early 70s. Formed in 2019 by college friends Timothy Miller (vocals, rhythm guitar), Ashton Gary (vocals, drums, guitar), Autumn Hamil (bass, keys, guitar), and Ethan Wilcox (lead guitar), with Brogan Lamb (keys) and Naseem Najib (percussion) joining later, the group quickly made a name for themselves by releasing singles leading up to the pandemic. Their self-titled debut album dropped in 2022, featuring production work from Jarod Evans and recording sessions at Sonic Ranch Studios. Following that, Chelsea Days released two EPs: "Falling In A Dream," a self-produced home studio project, and "sincerely," which came out on the French label Nice Guys and helped boost their streaming presence significantly.
In 2024, the band continued their momentum with a series of singles culminating in their second album, "Mirror, Mirror," which includes the standout track "Ways to Go," named the 7th best Oklahoma song of 2024 by KOSU NPR. Their music is marked by rich textures and an adventurous spirit, blending vintage psychedelic vibes with modern indie sensibilities. Chelsea Days remains an exciting and evolving force in the indie music scene, steadily building a dedicated fanbase with their blend of lush soundscapes and heartfelt songwriting.
