Julien Soro is one of the most talented saxophonists of his generation. He holds a first prize in jazz with honors from the prestigious Conservatoire National de Paris, highlighting his exceptional musical skill. Soro is actively involved in various musical projects, notably as a member of the different versions of the KAMI project. He is also known for collaborating with fellow musician Raphaël Schwab, with whom he has been performing since their student days at the National Conservatory. Together, they form a duo known as Schwab Soro and are part of the Paris-based large ensemble PING MACHINE.
Soro's music career includes a diverse discography, with notable releases such as "Sweet Dog on the Moon," "Players," "Game Boys," and "Captain Roland Kirk," among others. His work showcases a blend of spontaneity and precision, reflecting his natural talent for improvisation and musical expression.
