KAMIJO is a Japanese singer-songwriter, musician, and record producer who has made a significant impact in the visual kei scene. Born on July 19, 1975, he's best known as the lead vocalist of the bands Lareine and Versailles. KAMIJO began his music career in 1994 with Lareine, which gained success in the late 1990s. After Lareine disbanded, he co-founded the symphonic metal band Versailles in 2007. In 2013, KAMIJO embarked on a solo career, releasing several albums and singles that blend visual kei aesthetics with power metal sounds. His music often features theatrical performances and complex, symphonic arrangements, showcasing his versatility as an artist.
