Re: is a musical project from Montreal formed by Aden Evens and Ian Ilavsky, who have been making music together since 1996. Both musicians are also known for their work in the band Sackville, and Ilavsky is a co-founder of the influential Constellation Records. Their sound blends noise, ambient, and electro-acoustic textures, creating immersive and experimental music that’s earned them a dedicated following.

Re: released their debut album, *Mnant*, in 2001 after three years of recording, followed by *Alms* in 2004. Their work is marked by a thoughtful approach to sound and texture, reflecting their backgrounds in both music and philosophy. If you’re into atmospheric, boundary-pushing music, Re: is definitely worth a listen.
