Hinode Tapes

Hinode Tapes is a Polish improvising trio led by Piotr Kaliński (also known as Hatti Vatti from Nanook of the North) along with Piotr Chęcki and Jacek Prościński. Their music is an intriguing blend of ambient textures and free jazz improvisation, combining subtle field recordings and breathy synthesizers with dynamic percussion and jazz elements. In 2025, they released their third album, *Ita*, which features Japanese double bassist Hiroki Chiba, expanding their sonic palette and adding new depth to their sound.
