Cipriano de Rore was a Flemish composer of the Renaissance period. Born in Antwerp around 1515, he spent most of his career in Italy, where he worked for several noble families and the papal court. Rore was a master of both sacred and secular music, and his works are known for their expressive melodies, rich harmonies, and sophisticated counterpoint. He is considered one of the most important composers of the 16th century, and his music continues to be performed and enjoyed today.
