Richard O'Brien is a British-New Zealand actor, writer, musician, and television presenter. He's best known for creating the cult classic musical "The Rocky Horror Show" in 1973, which he also co-wrote the screenplay for in its film adaptation "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" (1975). O'Brien played the character Riff Raff in both the stage and film versions. He's had a diverse career in entertainment, including writing other musicals, acting in various films and TV shows, and hosting the UK game show "The Crystal Maze" in the 1990s.
