Frankie Ballard

Frankie Ballard is an American country music singer-songwriter and guitarist who hails from Battle Creek, Michigan. Born on December 16, 1982, he first captured the public's attention when he won Kenny Chesney's Next Big Star competition for Michigan in 2008. This success provided him with the opportunity to open for Chesney at various concerts. Ballard's debut self-titled album, "Frankie Ballard," was released in 2011 and included hit singles such as "Tell Me You Get Lonely" and "A Buncha Girls." His breakthrough came with the release of his second album, "Sunshine & Whiskey," in 2014, which produced the hit single of the same name. The song became a number one hit on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. In 2016, Frankie Ballard continued his path in the music industry with his third studio album, "El Rio," which was well received and featured the hit "It All Started with a Beer." Alongside his studio work, he also dropped the festive "Run Run Rudolph" and the "The Drinky Drink EP," showcasing both his versatility and his deep-rooted affection for the classic country sounds imbued with a modern rock twist. Ballard's knack for blending earnest storytelling with catchy melodies has established him as a notable figure on the contemporary country music scene.
