Featherpocket

Featherpocket is a vibrant country-rock and Americana band from Charlotte, North Carolina, led by singer and guitarist Jason Cline. The band's name came from a quirky moment in Portland, Oregon, when Cline found feathers and tucked them into his shirt pocket, inspiring the moniker as he teamed up with guitarist Johnny Holliday. Their music blends classic country influences rooted in early 20th-century Bristol, Tennessee, with rock, bluegrass, and folk elements, creating a sound described as heartfelt and spirited with instruments like pedal steel, banjo, and cantering guitars.

Since their 2019 self-titled debut album, Featherpocket has gained acclaim for their energetic live shows and strong songwriting, touring nationally and sharing stages with notable artists such as Lillie Mae and the Blackfoot Gypsies. Their recent releases include albums and singles like "Cowboy Hat," "Marijuana Honey," and "Fat City," the latter inspired by local legends and showcasing their storytelling craft.
