Fecal Addiction

Fecal Addiction is a goregrind band hailing from Heredia, Costa Rica, formed in 2006 by Roberto Vargas along with four friends. Known for their slamming, groovy grindcore style, they combine brutal death metal with a brutal yet catchy edge, often incorporating science fiction themes, humor, and protest lyrics into their music. Over the years, they've built a strong presence in the underground metal scene, releasing several EPs and splits, including notable tracks like "Engorged With Human Waste," which showcases their heavy, intense sound paired with a darkly humorous aesthetic.

The band started as a one-man project but evolved into a full-fledged group by 2013, continuing to push the boundaries of goregrind with their energetic performances and infectious grooves. They've toured internationally, notably in Mexico, and maintain a DIY ethic, releasing music through independent labels and actively engaging with their fanbase online. Their discography features collaborations with other extreme metal acts, underscoring their place in the brutal death metal and grindcore scenes.
