Alex Sypsomos, known by his stage name SYPS, is a Florida-born soul/pop singer, songwriter, and producer with English and Greek heritage who grew up in Bangkok. He uniquely blends Eastern and Western musical influences, bridging cultures through his sound. A 2008 graduate of the International School Bangkok and Berklee College of Music, SYPS has built a diverse career writing and producing for top artists across Asia—including hits for Chinese megastar Jolin Tsai and collaborations with Indian hip-hop stars like Prabh Deep and Raftaar. He first gained wide recognition with his catchy debut single "Four Walls" in 2017 and international chart success through collaborations like the German DJ Sean Finn’s "Can You Feel It," which hit #2 in several European countries.

SYPS is celebrated for crafting soulful vocals, memorable hooks, and genre-defying music, amassing over 100 million streams worldwide. Beyond his solo work, he plays a significant role behind the scenes as a songwriter and producer for artists from Thailand, China, Korea, India, and Myanmar. In 2024, he planned to focus more on his solo career with exciting new releases. Based in Bangkok, SYPS also mentors young musicians, continuing to influence the next generation while maintaining a growing global presence in the music industry.
