Flowered Up was a British indie dance band formed in 1984 in Manchester, England. The band's original lineup consisted of Liam Maher (vocals), Keith Hartley (guitar), Rick Lees (bass), and Jon Lindsay (drums). Flowered Up released their debut album, "A Life with Brian," in 1987, which was a critical and commercial success. The album spawned the hit singles "Weekender" and "Crackerjack." The band continued to release music throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s, but they eventually disbanded in 1993.
