Šamanovo Zboží

Šamanovo Zboží are a Czech psychedelic rock band formed in Prague in 1975. Known for their extended instrumental jams, mystical lyrics, and incorporation of traditional Czech folk influences, they became a prominent part of the Czech underground music scene during the communist era. Though they faced censorship and restrictions, they managed to cultivate a dedicated following and released several albums, often distributed samizdat, before the Velvet Revolution. Their music evokes a sense of otherworldly exploration and spiritual searching, often featuring flute, violin, and echoing vocals alongside the standard rock instrumentation.

After the fall of communism, Šamanovo Zboží continued to perform and record, experiencing a resurgence in popularity and finally able to release their music officially. They remain active today, still captivating audiences with their unique blend of psychedelic rock and Czech folk traditions. Their more recent albums, including "Zeměkout," "V tmách," and "Čtvrtá polnice," demonstrate their continued commitment to their distinctive sound and mystical themes.
