Ndi Kacee

Ndi Kacee, born Kudakwashe Clarence Madondo, is a Zimbabwean hip-hop artist currently based in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is known to fans as Asekuru, a name inspired by his 2016 single of the same title, which gained attention after its release in January 2017 as part of his mixtape *The Lawd Gawd Tape*. Ndi Kacee's professional music career began in 2014 with Global Records in Harare, where he met Fungayi “Funf” Paradzayi, who became his executive producer. He has collaborated with several notable artists in the ZimHipHop scene, including Savage, Mclyne Beats, T-Ka$h, and Ta$ha. Ndi Kacee is also a student at the University of the Witwatersrand, studying Accounting Science.

Ndi Kacee has released several notable tracks and projects, including *Vibes Afro Way EP* in 2018. His music often reflects his personal experiences and societal observations, as seen in singles like *Shuwa Here* and *Tell’Em*. Ndi Kacee values intimate storytelling in his music, drawing inspiration from African hip-hop and American influences. Despite his growing presence, Ndi Kacee remains eager to perform live for his fans, a dream he hopes to achieve soon.
