Luis Nacht is an Argentine musician born on January 17, 1959, in Buenos Aires. He started studying flute and guitar as a child and began formal flute studies at age 15 in Mexico City. There, he began his professional career as a flutist and vocalist specializing in Latin music, touring Central America and Europe with the band Grupo Sur. Later, he expanded his musical palette by studying saxophone and jazz, taking lessons from renowned musicians such as George Coleman and Richie Beirach in New York City. Nacht is active primarily in Argentina, where he has collaborated with a wide range of jazz musicians both locally and internationally, blending Latin music and jazz influences in his work.
Throughout his career, Luis Nacht has released multiple solo albums and worked with musicians from various countries, gaining recognition for his unique sound and contemporary sensibility.
