ZQKMGDZ, also known as "10,000 km² gegen die Zeit," is a German band from Lübeck, Schleswig-Holstein, formed on New Year's Day in 2012. Initially, the band was a two-piece ensemble consisting of Don Alfredo on guitar and vocals and Don Fernando on drums. Over time, the lineup evolved to include Don Francesco on bass from 2020, replacing Don Libido who played bass from 2013 to 2020. The band is associated with the stoner/doom metal and rock genres. They have released several albums, including "Absolutely Z" in 2019. Their music often explores themes of heavy riffs and atmospheric soundscapes, typical of their genre.
