lùisa is a German singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer known for her blend of intimate, emotionally charged pop with influences from ’70s and ’80s sounds as well as contemporary indie music. Based in Hamburg, she has been actively releasing music since her 2013 debut album, *One Youth Ago*, evolving her style through electronic elements in her 2015 album *Never Own* and, more recently, into a groove-oriented, melodic pop with her 2021 album *New Woman*. This latest record reflects her growth as an artist both personally and musically, addressing themes of grief, identity, and social activism with warm synths, live instrumentation, and thoughtful songwriting. Lùisa has toured Europe, opening for acts like The Paper Kites, and her music has reached wider audiences through placements such as the TV series *Orange Is The New Black*.
