Fabrizio Datteri

Fabrizio Datteri is an accomplished Italian pianist and harpsichordist from Lucca, celebrated for his broad musical expertise and engaging performances. He graduated with top honors from ISSM Boccherini in Lucca and earned a three-year Master’s degree in Chamber Music from the Accademia di Imola, where he graduated with special mention. Fascinated by Baroque music, he also completed a harpsichord degree from the Conservatorio di Firenze, performing extensively with various ensembles. Over his career, he has performed on prestigious stages worldwide, including Carnegie Hall in New York, Wigmore Hall in London, and the Musikverein in Vienna. Datteri is noted for his chamber music collaborations with renowned artists and orchestras, and for his recordings with major labels such as Decca, Harmonia Mundi, and Naxos.

He has a deep commitment to both solo and chamber music, often working with distinguished contemporary musicians and participating in masterclasses across Europe and beyond. Datteri’s repertoire ranges from Baroque to modern works, highlighted by projects such as transcriptions of Puccini for piano four hands and recordings of Beethoven concertos arranged for chamber ensembles. He also teaches bassoon at the P. Mascagni Conservatory in Livorno and is a permanent professor at the Conservatorio di Perugia. His energetic and thoughtful playing, combined with a scholarly approach to music, has earned him international respect and an ongoing presence in the classical music scene.
