Jakuzi is a Turkish synth-pop band known for their unique twist on dark wave and '80s-infused electronic music. The project, born in Istanbul, is the brainchild of singer and musician Kutay Soyocak and multi-instrumentalist Taner Yücel. With Soyocak's moody, melancholic vocals and Yücel's knack for creating textured synth-based landscapes, Jakuzi crafts a soundscape that is at once nostalgic and refreshingly contemporary.

The band first garnered international attention with their debut album "Fantezi Müzik," released in 2017, which resonated with both local and international audiences for its evocative lyrics and blend of synth-pop with Turkish musical elements. Following the success of their inaugural album, Jakuzi continued to explore and expand their sound, leading to subsequent releases such as "Hata Payı" - a melancholic anthem of error and fallibility, and the explorative "Açık Bir Yara EP". The track "Ne Teselli Ne Avuntu," remixed by The Soft Moon, showcases Jakuzi's ability to collaborate and reinterpret their work through darker, more industrial tones. Their recent singles, "Sür Beni" and "Merasim," stay true to the band's roots while affirming their place in the contemporary music scene, blending synthesizers, heartfelt lyrics, and a distinct Turkish aesthetic to create a sound emblematic of the group's emotional depth and artistic daring.
