MØL

MØL is a Danish band that seamlessly blends the raw energy of black metal with the textured shoegaze of the 90s to create a genre that some have labeled as "blackgaze." The band formed in Aarhus, Denmark, in the early 2010s and has quickly risen in the ranks of underground metal thanks to their potent combination of ethereal melodies and blistering aggression. MØL’s music is characterized by its atmospheric soundscapes, piercing guitar work, and introspective lyrics, all underpinned by the visceral intensity of black metal.

Following their early work, which showcased their unique sound, MØL released their debut full-length album “Jord” in 2018 to critical acclaim, cementing their place in the modern metal scene. The album was accompanied by an instrumental version, allowing fans to fully immerse themselves in the intricate layers of their sound. Subsequent releases such as the singles "Photophobic," "Serf," and "Vestige," as well as the comprehensive "Diorama" in both its lyrical and instrumental forms, have continued to develop their sound palette.
