Stainless is a hard rock/heavy rock band that formed in Portland, Oregon, in 2022. The band evolved from pandemic-era beginnings in 2020 and solidified its lineup with Larissa Cavacece on vocals, Mira Sonnleitner on bass, Joe Sugar on drums (later replaced by Terrica Catwood), and Jamie Byrum on guitar and vocals. Drawing on members' extensive experience in the Pacific Northwest underground scene, Stainless blends heavy metal elements with blues and classic rock influences, delivering a sound that is dynamic and energetic. They debuted with the single "Snakebite/Too Hot to Steal" and later released the mini-album "Nocturnal Racer," featuring tracks like the title song, "Shot For Shot," and "Believer," recorded at Red Lantern Studio in Portland.
