Martin Brandqvist Quartet
Martin Brandqvist Quartet is a Swedish jazz group led by saxophonist Martin Brandqvist. The quartet's music is characterized by its melodicism, rhythmic complexity, and improvisational freedom. Brandqvist's compositions often draw on traditional jazz forms, but he also incorporates elements of contemporary classical music and folk music. The quartet has released five albums to date, including "Any Time" (2018), "Fingertips" (2020), and "Feet on the Ground" (2022).
