Vulvarine

Vulvarine is a punk rock band from Vienna, Austria, known for their unique blend of raw punk and high-energy rock 'n' roll, which they term "vulvarock." Formed in 2019, the band is deeply rooted in feminist values and draws inspiration from the Riot Grrrl movement. Their music is energetic and empowering, often exploring themes of parties, intoxication, harassment, love, myths, and power dynamics. Vulvarine has gained a reputation for their lively performances and has supported notable bands like Thundermother, The Baboon Show, Exciter, and The Bar Stool Preachers.

Vulvarine released their debut album "Unleashed" in 2020 through Electric Fire Records, followed by the EP "Witches Brew" in October 2023. In 2025, they are set to release their new full-length album "Fast Lane" via Napalm Records and will support Thundermother on their European tour. Their music catalogue includes tracks like "Animal," "Streetcat," "Randy Haze," and more recent releases such as "Fast Lane" and "Witches Brew." Vulvarine's sound is distinctively rebellious and engaging, making them a significant force in the contemporary punk and hard rock scene.
