The Necromancers

The Necromancers are a heavy rock band hailing from Poitiers, France, whose sound is steeped in the dark imagery and intensity of doom metal and the classic heavy rock of the 70s. Emerging on the music scene with their debut album in 2017, "Servants of the Salem Girl," they immediately grabbed the attention of the heavy rock community with their thunderous riffs, foreboding lyrics, and a sorcerous vibe that felt like a throwback to the days of Black Sabbath, while still carving out a niche of their own. Combining elements of occult rock, hard-hitting rhythms, and a touch of psych, they became known for their immersive storytelling and ability to conjure an atmospheric, otherworldly listening experience.

Following their initial release, The Necromancers quickly returned to the studio to work on their next projects. "Of Blood and Wine," launched in 2018, further established their signature blend of sinister themes and compelling instrumentation, gaining them a loyal following both in France and internationally. Their subsequent releases, singles like "The Needle" and "Orchard," and the masterful EP "Where the Void Rose" show their relentless dedication to expanding their mystical universe and musical prowess. With each record, The Necromancers continue to refine their balance of melodic allure and raw power, securing their place among the intriguing acts in the modern wave of heavy psych-rock bands.
