Fernanda Damiano

**Fernanda Damiano** is a talented Italian pianist born in 1995, who's already racked up an impressive list of wins, including first prize at the 2017 International Music Competition in Vienna “Grand Prize Virtuoso” and over 50 other national and international competitions. She made her concerto debut at just 10 years old with Haydn’s D major concerto at the Teatro Impero in Trani, and since then she's lit up stages across Europe and North America at spots like Vienna's Gläserner Saal in the Musikverein, New York's Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Cremona Mondomusica, and the Emilia Romagna Festival.

These days, she's sharing her flair for classical gems through releases like *Galuppi: Piano Sonatas*, her debut album diving into six sonatas by the Baroque master Baldassare Galuppi, plus *Shostakovich and Pupils, Vol. 1* and *Vol. 2* (featuring Weinberg, Sviridov, and Bunin), blending Shostakovich's works with his students'. She's also a piano professor at the Conservatory of Pavia and teaches international courses for the Umbria Classica Association in Foligno—praised by legends like Aldo Ciccolini as a "real marvel" with a brilliant career ahead, especially after studying with Enrico Pace at the Imola Piano Academy.
