Florian Sievers

Florian Sievers is a German tenor known for his impressive performances in the classical music scene. Born in Hamburg, he began his singing career as a soprano in the Uetersen Boys' Choir. Sievers later studied singing with Berthold Schmid in Leipzig, graduating with honors in 2021. His international concert career has taken him to major music centers, including the Boston Early Music Festival and Wigmore Hall in London. He has performed with renowned conductors and orchestras such as Jordi Savall and the Freiburger Barockorchester. Notably, Sievers has been praised for his roles as the Evangelist in Bach's Passions and his performance in the opera "J. S. Bach - The Apocalypse."

Sievers' repertoire spans from Baroque to classical-romantic pieces and contemporary opera, showcasing his stylistic versatility. He has also been involved in numerous CD, video, and radio recordings. Recently, he has been appointed as a voice teacher at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig, where he previously studied.
