Felipe Botello y El Sonoro Rugir is a Mexican indie music project led by Felipe Botello, a multi-talented artist from San Luis Potosí. Botello, now based in Mexico City, blends nostalgic sounds with psychedelic vibes reminiscent of 1970s Mexican pop culture. His music career includes stints with alternative bands Los Dynamite and Bengala, as well as playing bass for Natalia Lafourcade. Currently, Botello is also a guitarist for Pepe Aguilar's band.
