Stephen Pastel
Stephen Pastel is a Scottish musician, songwriter, and record producer best known for his work with the indie pop band The Pastels. Formed in 1981, The Pastels released a string of critically acclaimed albums and singles throughout the 1980s and 1990s, blending jangly guitars, dreamy melodies, and introspective lyrics. Pastel has also pursued a successful solo career, releasing several albums and collaborating with artists such as Teenage Fanclub and BMX Bandits. His music is characterized by its intimate and atmospheric sound, often exploring themes of love, loss, and the search for meaning.
