FORBIDDEN is an American thrash metal band formed in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1985. The band's lineup has changed several times over the years, but the current lineup consists of Russ Anderson (vocals), Craig Locicero (guitar), Matt Camacho (guitar), Steve Smyth (bass), and Mark Hernandez (drums). FORBIDDEN has released eight studio albums, two live albums, and two compilation albums. The band's most successful album is their 1988 debut album, "Forbidden Evil," which peaked at number 44 on the Billboard 200 chart. FORBIDDEN has toured extensively throughout their career, and they have shared the stage with some of the biggest names in metal, including Metallica, Slayer, and Megadeth.
